I’ve usually got a relatively incoherent collection of research and writing projects in progress. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to discuss what’s cooking. Since 2019, I’ve been co-directing a fieldwork project (a survey around the coastal bay of Porto Rafti in eastern Attica, Greece) for the first time in my life, so that takes up a lot of energy and resources on an annual basis. The team is currently in study mode and working towards publication of our many finds. You can check out the project website here. My main “big boss” writing project this year is a book on the consumption and meaning of different metals across the transition from the Bronze to the Iron Age in the Aegean.
